1989 Suzuki Jimny Turbo

This 1989 Suzuki Jimny is the first one we’ve imported at Japanese Classics. It’s in exceptional condition with only 27,000 miles. Powered by a turbocharged 550cc engine, the Jimny is perfect for cruising around town or hitting the trails. The previous owner has added diamond plate panels, which provide a unique look, and help prevent damage while on tight trails. The front brush guard helps with additional protection for any off-road use. Lifted suspension and a set of Enkei wheels wrapped in 30-inch Goodyear wrangles give it an aggressive appearance.

The interior has been well taken care of during its time in Japan. The dash is crack free and the door panels are in great condition. At first glance the seats appear reupholstered, but they’re actually covers that fit very well. The seats underneath are still in okay condition if the owner chooses to remove them. The only other addition is a tasteful woodgrain Nardi steering wheel. The soft top looks relatively new with little wear, no snags, and no tears.

Mechanically everything functions as it should. The intercooled engine provides a slight increase in power over the non-intercooled versions. The engine starts right away and idles smoothly with no sputtering. The suspension and brake systems are in good working order and ready for road use. Larger tires provide increased clearance for any obstacles in your way.

Overall this low mileage Jimny is in great condition and would be a blast for any 4X4 enthusiast.
